its been a while since i had my last Marugame meal which was in Megamall. it was past 4pm and surprisingly there was no line so it was a smooth one and we got seated immediately. then a few minutes later i just noticed the line started to build up like crazy and just like that the store was already full. 5⭐

I stumbled upon Marugame Udon at Festival Mall during a layover in the Philippines—and what a lucky find it was! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were incredibly helpful. A special shoutout to Jovelle, who truly made my day! Her warm service and amazing service mind left such a strong impression on me. I honestly felt so well taken care of thanks to her. If the management is reading this—I just want to say, you have a gem of an employee in Jovelle. Her kindness, attentiveness, and genuine smile made my visit so memorable. If I ever get the chance to visit again, I would love to come back—not only for the tasty food but also to say hi to Jovelle. Hope to see you again soon!

Marugame Udon food is always good, the same at every branch. So I will rate this based on location and service. The place is small because so many tables and chairs are placed that the walking area is so small that you can hit the person who is eating at a table when you walk. Service is just the same at all branches—not so good, not worse either. The best branch is still in SM Sta. Rosa.

I love the food, coming here almost daily. The only thing I really got scared of is cockroaches running around on the table where they prepared my food, I felt so sick after that..

Jan 2026: the tempura can be cooked on the spot on request. The food is good but the wait for the take out is quite long and people after me got their food packed before me.

Located at the lower ground floor of the main mall building its easy to find. Its prominent location means its one of the busiest restaurants in the mall. To accomodate the large volume of customers they have plenty of tables that also means the dining area is very cramped. The service is fine. The food is prepared quickly and the staff does move fast only downside is they only have one counter so the line to pay for your food can take a while. As for the food, its what you expect from Marugame competently cooked with good serving portions. Its one of the best value for money fastfood restaurants chains in the country.

Tried udon for a change and went with the beef udon. It was tasty and satisfying. The place has a cafeteria-style setup where you line up, order your food, and help yourself. They have condiments available so you can enhance the flavor to your liking. The place is quite popular, especially during lunch, but the line moved quickly. They also serve more than just udon, so I might come back to try their other dishes too. For me, it is a great place to try Japanese food without hurting your wallet. Great find.
